Ever since that fall from grace
Mankind has been trying to make amends
However, demeaning the labor
Man prevailed and made things work
Creating societies, establishing jobs, yet
Somewhere along the line the sacrifices weren't enough
Diseases ran rampant
Faces that so willinly toiled
Have become twisted and old
Wrinkled with suffering and pain
Workers have now become procrastinators
Giveing way to sins
Workers have now become sinners
Our ability to sin by rite of birth
The paradise that we have descended from
Is nothing compared to the hell we were about to create
At every corner betrayal, misery, and sadness
Fleeting moments of happiness
Outweighed by moments of sorrow
Yet man prevailed with hope
Our hope by rite of birth
Somewhere along the way the line between good and evil became blurred
In every face, lies a compassionate soul
Yet a harmful and violent counterpart
Every man discriminating against the other
Every action fueled by the thought of personal gain
Interest in others have become self-interest
What was now express in the open
Have been reduced to inner pains, inner motives yet
Mankind moved on to a time of greater suffering
Our suffering that have existed since our first struggles
Against the wishes of the Supreme Being
Plagued by the everyday monotony of routine
Humans have broken the natural cycle that keeps all alive
We have polluted our physical environment
An extension of ourselves and a source of inspiration
we have uprooted our values and replaced it with emptiness
A loss of morality amongst ourselves
We have destroyed the things that don't belong to us
A rite not given by birth
We have sinned and sinned and yet with one utterance of remorse
All sins could be forgiven
Yet our remorse amounts to nothing
Mankind has now enter a time of moral disruption
Our systems that we have created are crumbling at their foundations
The time for a new birth has come
Only in man could the winds of change occur
Only in man lies the potential to alter the course of mankind
Only in man could he create the paradise he had left long ago
You were all given freewill, so use it to change the fate of mankind
Mankind has been trying to make amends
However, demeaning the labor
Man prevailed and made things work
Creating societies, establishing jobs, yet
Somewhere along the line the sacrifices weren't enough
